Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking an energetic individual for a Mathematics Teacher (9-12) (1.0 FTE) at Milton
High School. This position will begin August 2024. Come join our team in educating and guiding our students to success

A competitive starting salary of $47,394 (2023-24 starting salary) is offered for a 190-day contract for individuals that
have a Bachelor’s degree. Additional compensation is available for candidates with prior years of teaching experience in
public education and additional education beyond a bachelor’s degree. A competitive benefits package is also included.

Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates
should have an outstanding ability to engage high school students and inspire them to explore the field of Mathematics.
Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. Co-curricular coaching and advisor
positions may be available. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial
contributor to the school and district; and assume a leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives.
Candidates should be proficient in co-teaching and co-planning with special education teachers.

It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Math – 1400 and have the appropriate
position code for 9th – 12th grade students.
